Catalog of Assets
Building the largest catalog of tokenized assets
The Catalog is still work in progress
To facilitate the distribution of tokenized assets, it is crucial to ensure that these assets are easily discoverable by potential distributors. Much like the internet, simply being present on a blockchain network does not guarantee visibility. To address this challenge, Tokeny is systematically building a comprehensive catalog of tokenized assets. This catalog is designed to serve as a centralized repository where distributors can find and evaluate various tokenized assets. Tokeny's role is simply to facilitate the connectivity between securities issuers, their asset servicers, and distributors.
Each asset listed in the catalog follows a standardized set of guidelines to ensure consistency and interoperability. Specifically, these assets leverage the ERC-3643 token standard, which promotes seamless interaction across the blockchain ecosystem. This standardization is essential for creating a cohesive and efficient distributed marketplace for tokenized securities.
Moreover, the tokens in the catalog are enriched with a wealth of information, including details about the asset's valuation, token data, project descriptions, and relevant legal documents. Additionally, the catalog indicates whether there are any current offerings available for the primary or secondary markets.
Distribution platforms can connect to this catalog and curate the listings according to their specific criteria. They can select the offerings that best align with their clients' interests, taking into account factors such as jurisdiction and preferred asset classes. This approach not only streamlines the distribution process but also ensures that distributors can provide their clients with a diverse and well-vetted selection of tokenized assets.
When activating distribution, Issuers can share:
- Tokens details
- Token valuation / NAV (Net Asset Value)
- Token rating
- Project information (title, description, custom fields, etc.)
- Documents
Also, it is possible to get information about:
- Primary market: Is it currently possible to invest (subscribe/redeem) and under which conditions (price, period, currencies, payment methods, etc.).
- Secondary market: Is it currently possible to buy/sell between investors.
- Investor eligibility: Is a defined wallet address eligible for a token.
