Step 1: Accessing the Catalog of assets
Displaying Available Assets for Distribution
As a distributor, one of the first steps in integrating with the blockchain-based ecosystem is retrieving and displaying the list of available tokenized assets that can be distributed. Through the Distribution Framework APIs, distributors can query the registry of compliant assets issued on-chain, along with their associated metadata, eligibility requirements, and distribution parameters. This capability enables seamless integration into existing distribution platforms, allowing distributors to present investors with up-to-date, compliant investment opportunities directly sourced from the blockchain infrastructure.

Adding Assets to the Catalog
Authorized participants within the ecosystem need the ability to register new assets in the catalog for distribution and management. Using the Distribution Framework APIs, assets can be added along with essential metadata, compliance rules, and eligibility criteria. Once added, these assets are represented on-chain as tokenized instruments by default, ensuring they are fully compatible with blockchain-based distribution, permissions management, and investor interaction workflows. This approach streamlines asset onboarding while maintaining interoperability and regulatory compliance across the network.
T-REX Engine APIs articles:All assets issued through T-REX Engine API (hence deployed onchain) are pushed to the Catalog by default. It is issuer choice to make it available for distributors. Current steps for creating a new tokenized asset through API are:
There is an alternative and seamless approach that works in the other way, when an asset is pushed to the catalog is tokenized in a seamless and transparent way (coming soon)
